I love every page of this book, a well narrated case of how human.. chose to be 2 leg'd ....
auther explains both the mental and physical changes ... and his inventation ....
why invention made changes to how we do and re do thing .... but the best part of human ascent is that whereever we are we had a same order of invention .... as we all had one cause that is to "survive"....

A multi disciplinary approach to Mankind's rise from among the animals
The Author was a celebrated polymath, very sensitive to all the simple yet significant details of the biology and psychology of humans. Very keen to tell the story of the rise of human beings from among the animals to a place among the angels--so to speak ! Clear grasp of not only the biology / physics / chemistry / astonomy but also of the history of Science and Scientific thought makes it a pleasure to read and think over !
