in this book roald dalh has kept in mind the liking of the children and has given it a wonderous story. the novel is filled with instances that make you laugh. quinten blake has put the best of his efforts in illustrating the story...

The Best Funny Good-read
Awesome book by my favorite Roald Dahl. Classed as one of Roald Dahl's most charming creations, the Big Friendly Giant can hardly be viewed as friendly at the start when he grabs dear little Sophie from her bed and takes her off to the land of giants. Once there we discover he's not so big either when compared to the all the other vile giants who constantly torment him for being the odd one out.
