The Book Thief  (Blu-ray English)

Based on a critically acclaimed novel with the same name by Markus Zusak and directed by Brian Percival, The Book Thief is a war drama film which stars Sophie Nélisse, Academy Award-winner Geoffrey Rush and 4-time BAFTA Award-nominee Emily Watson. Set during the Second World War in Germany, the plot of this intriguing film follows a young girl who is fascinated by books and develops a habit of collecting and even stealing them. As her new foster parents teach her how to read, the girl begins to create a magical world inside her mind among all the chaos. She also innocently provides shelter to a Jewish refugee in her basement.
