Summary of the Book

The author, also an investigative reporter, chronicles his experiences and encounters in the seduction community while working on an article. He is intrigued by the subculture of the romantic community and starts online discussions on the same lines, mainly out of his own frustrations. He once goes to a boot camp conducted by a man who calls himself “Mystery”. It has Strauss and others approaching women, and Mystery and his counterpart, Sinn, give them corrective advice on their body language, behaviour, and what to say. It is then that Strauss realizes that they were all the things that the society should have taught him in the first place. This title was featured on the New York Times Bestseller List.
