THE MOVIE IS VERY BORING ITS JUST ANOTHER ATTEMPT FROM CLOONEY TO WIN AN OSCAR IF U LOVE CLOONEY AND HIS FILMS THEN THIS IS NOT THE FILM FOR U AS IT TOTALLY BELONGS TO RYAN GOSLING WHO HAS SPOILT THE MOVIE WITH HIS IMMATURE PERFORMANCE THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS MOVIE IS RACHEL EVAN WOOD SHE LOOKS STUNNING AND ALSO SHOWS THAT SHE CAN ACT AS WELL BUT EVEN SHE HAS A SMALL ROLE IF U LOVE GEORGE CLOONEY THEN SAVE THE CASH FOR THE DESCENDANTS AS ITS WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY

Great acting performances, better movie
Clooney's wowed us again. This time he's created a movie that'll keep you on the edge of your seat, whether you know even an itsy bit of American politics or not.
Everyone gave a brilliant performance, and they have packed in quite a few good actors. Oh, and Gosling should've won star of the year or something ... what with this one and Drive. Oh, well, it's definitely worth the money, and then some. :)

Excellent political thriller
I have always admired Clooney more as a director than as actor. Ides of March is captivating for its natural direction, almost seeming like a clip of TV news showing the current Republican campaign. Clooney himself stays in the background, letting Ryan Gosling and the very beautiful Evan Rachel Wood grab the best lines and best scenes. Ryan portrays the evolution of his character very well.
