Sometimes, strong bonds can be formed because of a simple accident. Directed by Ritesh Batra, The Lunchbox is a Hindi romantic drama film that stars 3-time Filmfare Award-winner Irrfan Khan, the enchanting Nimrat Kaur and Nawazuddin Siddiqui who was a supporting actor in Gangs of Wasseypur. The plot of this magical tale follows the unexpected relationship that is formed between Ila, a neglected homemaker, and Saajan, a lonely middle-aged man who is getting closer to his retirement. Ila sends a special lunch with a note to her husband via a delivery system, however, the lunch box ends up with Saajan. Eventually, the two of them begin writing to each other, expressing their thoughts about life and the past.
