The Mahabharata Re-imagined, by Trisha Das, offers different insights into one of the epic stories ever told.

    Summary of the Book

In this book, the author delves into various characters of the Mahabharata with much empathy. The book tries to understand if Bhishma did make a shameful admission while he lay dying on the battleground of Kurukshetra. It also examines if Princess Draupadi was in love even as her wedding was being orchestrated with another man. Also, was Queen Gandhari the reason for the death of her husband, Dhritarashtra, and sister-in-law, Kunti? Discover the answer for these questions and more in The Mahabharata Re-imagined.

Blink and miss of an awesome forthcoming item!

Well written. It explored small events in the Mahabharata in a "what-if" kind of mode. Imagination of Trisha Das has been awesome. It can be said that this book is somewhat similar to Irawati Karve's Yuganta.

What I can say is that its interesting, worthy-reading but too small as if it is a trailer of some major book to follow. I hope it actually does come.
