Dr. Eben Alexander is an American neurosurgeon. He is a member of the American Medical Association and several other professional societies, and has been on the editorial boards of various journals. Eben Alexander has also authored the book, Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon’s Journey into the Afterlife.

Ptolemy Tompkins is an American author. He is a senior editor at Guideposts magazine, and has also authored the book, Paradise Fever: Dispatched from the Dawn of the New Age.
