    Good nonfiction

The reasons I enjoyed this book:
    Easy and quick read
Normally the nonfiction takes time to finish and the subject dealt will take one to take time complete the book.
This book takes one to the tour on habits with much ease and the reader tends to enjoy (at least I enjoyed) with out getting bored
The book is in three parts - one part deals with individual habits, another deals with the institutional habits and the final one on societal habits.
What is interesting in this book - most of the tim...

    Book of Scientific Magical Thinking

No words to describe the content of this book...else you may feel that I am exaggerating it.....the ideas presented in this books are magical...

I have found so solid logic as close as perfection only in writing of Osho.
    You cannot remain un-convinced.

The theories with practical examples are so robust and yet so simple...you will have to believe it...you become optionless to think for other logic...

I want to add many sitations and captions from book...but short of time...surely will add...

For those who believe that any change is attainable

I can't promise you that this book will trigger utter change in you, but the only thing that I can promise you that it helps you to form a framework through which you can achieve the same.
This book helps you to scrutinize the everyday choices that we made through habits ingrained in our brain which we typically perceive as our conscious decision made by us. It will help you to break the bad habits and from the good ones regardless of what those habits are, which is the goal of Charles Duhigg...

Why we do 40% work in life out of habit

I saw the reference of this book in Harvard Business Review. I read once and planning to read again. As habit is the majority of our work, decision, lifestyle, patterns, exercise, love, affection everything, reading this book opens the eye. The book has various case studies of successful organization who succeeded in creating habit to their customer to buy their products, be it shampoo, toothpaste or cereals. The book gradually becomes very serious and try to reform the readers. Makes us unde...

Explains wonderfully the power of habits & how to manipulate it in our favour.

In this well researched book Charles Duhigg teaches us to recognize habit patterns. How are they formed? What FUELS habits? How to overcome the ones we want to give up? And thus he gives us the tools to change the habits that we'd so want to, but never seem to be able to.

The book is in three parts: Habits of an individual, habit patterns that work for organizations, habits of the society.

The first part is just SUPERB and that's where the major revelations are. The second part is very good ...
