    Fair

Book is indeed very nice and stands up to all the good things people talk about it. Must read for a programmer.
Rating dropped here because of Flipkart. Flipkart is not anymore the same organisation, you can feel it by the way they are sending their products now. They had a better service of delivering books in 2011 than they have now.
Bookmarks are missing, books are not kept properly in the wrapping.

For people who are in the begining of their development career

Finished reading it in 1 week and disappointed to know that I am bit late in reading this book as I have already experience majority of things given in this book. In short, this book is not for a person above 3-4 year experience, as they already went through majority of things described in book.

    This book is writte...

    Hacker book

A nice written book that everybody talks about, only few would really read it end to end. If you're bored by your usual routine, give it a try. For a seasoned programmer, it would be more of a rediscovery than learning something new.

    classics of software industry

This book should be rated along side code complete 2, Refactoring(Martin Folwer) and GOF book. If you want to be a better programmer and follow the practice of the experts these four books are the least minimum you should read. I reread these and find something new each time. Highly recommended book.
