Best translation of our times....
I bought this Quran translation book through filpkart 2 days back,
Abdel Haleem had done a good job in translating the Quran in english by not using obscure languages and easy to understand refernces. But the only thing is it doesnt contain the original Quran text in Arabic as most translation does.
This book also introduction about Prop Muhamed(PBUH), as well as the Quran, many historic facts have been given.

MashaAllah a great work by Abdul Haleem!!!
Alhamdulillah!! The author has done a great work of translating the Holy Al-Qur'an in English but keeping the exact Arabic meaning unlike other translations which use one meaning of a particular arabic word throughout not taking into consideration the fact that the same arabic word has different meanings depending on the context.

Excellent Translation and Quality
The quality of translation is too good even for the native English speakers who are looking out for the best translation. The best part is that it has got an introduction section which will help the non-muslims too to have a proper foundation of what is Quran all about and how it was revelaed.

EXCELLENT TRANSLATION WORK SANS JARGON. BEST FOR THE STARTERS, PARTICULARLY NON-ARABS AND NON-MUSLIMS. WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT HAD IT ALSO CONTAINED ARABIC PRONUNCIATION IN ENGLISH.
