Directed by Mira Nair and starring Kiefer Sutherland, Liev Schreiber, Om Puri and Riz Ahmed, The Reluctant Fundamentalist is political drama-thriller film that maps the life of a young Pakistani man who pursues his dreams of achieving corporate success on Wall Street. He is constantly conflicted and torn by the American dream, a hostage crisis, and the call of his familial homeland.
