The Spectacular Now  (English, Paperback, Tharp Tim)

The greatest thing about this book is its honesty. The voice of the protagonist is real and believable. The events that take place in the novel are things every high school kid goes through and all of Sutter's problems and struggles are relateable (to an extent.) The characters are all well written and the story itself is pretty good, too. The ending was quite heartbreaking. This is a good read if you're into young adult literature.
