    Enjoyed it

This book wasn't perfect but it held my attention and I enjoyed it. Definitely better than what I had expected from Indian chick lit. I suggest you borrow from a library or a friend and read it as it isn't more than a one-time read...

Also, the book could do with some editing (Found so many spelling and grammar mistakes!)

    Zoya . . . "the major factor"

Apart from the fact that this book is named after my younger daughter, its a great read. The idea is quiet unique and very relevant to the sub continent, a heady mix of the biggest religion "Cricket" and the basic characteristics of our's "superstitions". The narrative is refreshing and in a language which most people will find easy to identify with. Go ahead buy this book and enjoy a young and upcoming writer . . . who for a change is as pretty as her writing !!

One can't help but empathize with the protagonists. A light and delightful read.

    World Cup Deja vu!

For both people who like to read abt cricketers and it isnt bloke lit.. the story is more abt the journalist Zoya.. even Shahrukh Khan makes a few entries..hahaha..

I read it last year much before the Cricket World Cup 2011 and you would enjoy it even more now since there were a lot of similarities amazingly like India winning the world cup and the captain performing in the finals.. read the book for the rest! its really good for a débutante author

    Fair

Anuja chauhan is considered one of the pioneers of romcoms in India but to be honest I found her most beloved book i.e the zoya factor overrated and over priced. The novel is too long for a romcom and there are times you feel that the author is unnecessarily dragging the story. If you have zero knowlege about cricket like me then this book might be a bit tricky as the book revolves around cricket matches.Overall, the story was just fine but according to me reading 'man of her match ' by Saksh...
