In Thea Stilton And The Mountain Of Fire, Thea Stilton and five of her fans from Mouseford Academy, the Thea Sisters, set off on a trip down under to help a friend solve a mystery about her flock of sheep at the ranch.
The adventure begins with Nicky getting to know from her grandmother about the trouble with the sheep. The sheep at the ranch have been losing wool and no one knew the reason behind it. The ranch was completely dependent on the wool to keep running. Nicky decides to head to Australia to unravel the mystery behind the missing wool and is joined by her friends and Thea, who decide to help Nicky with her problems.
As the Thea sisters travel to Australia, they come to learn a lot about the country and its people. They finally arrive at the ranch only to find out that the sheep appear to be losing wool in huge clumps. The sheep shearing season is just around the corner, and the group is under a lot of pressure to solve the mystery.
