About the Author
An Army child, Sophia Bennett grew up in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Berlin before studying French and Italian at UCL and completing a PhD in modern Italian at Cambridge. Then she joined McKinsey as an associate for three years, saving up enough to live on for two years while she tried to write.
