This book is a spinoff to three Idiots and a Wise Man. These books are based on the Alternate Universe Theory. There are many references to the theory in these books. This book is a part of eight books on Kumar’s Love Life. One major point used in this series is Timeline’s effect on the main protagonist in this story is Kumar. He is the most affected by the events in other timelines. How they affect him and form a part of his life is explained in detail here. Kumar is an ordinary middle-class young man, who reaches Bombay in the 1980s, how he reaches the top of the business world and what are his relations makes up the story.
