The size of the drive is very compact. There are no backup software provided with the drive. Comes pre forrmatted as NTFS. Faced disk write problem twice on the first day of usage. But later I have not faced this issue. I have already copied more than 1TB of data from my another HDD. Getting around 100 to 130 Mbps write speed when used on USB3.0 port. A:1.8 TB... in ALL storage devices you never get the full advertised space because some of it is always reserved to replace usable sectors when they go bad.
