I read the book after watching the movie based on this book. The movie itself was riveting and the book with its first hand narration far exceeds the visual experience. A thrilling read
A thrilling read based on the true account and plight of Joe & Simson's expedition to Silua Grande in Andes. It's also a story monumental WILL to survive in one of the worst weather condition in an inhospitable environment with a broken leg and thought to be dead after falling into a large crevasse.
Definitely recommend to anyone in love with the Mountains.

A very good book
Well, the book is good, paper quality is also nice, bt the cost is i think high for the book provided. it should be around 500 not more than that. bt other than that, the story is awesome. you should buy this book and read it , specially for the mountainers. it will give you a nice knowledge. also watch the movie of this book.
