About Robert H. Schuller

Born near Alton in 1926, Robert H. Schuller went on to become an American televangelist, pastor and motivational speaker. He is perhaps most famous for his weekly show, Hour of Power, which he started in 1970.

Robert H. Schuller has authored several other books, both motivational and otherwise, some of them being Way To The Good Life, Self-Love, You Can Be The Person You Want to Be and Life’s Not Fair, But God Is Good.

Schuller obtained a Master’s degree in Divinity from the Western Theological Seminary, in 1950. He then used a drive-in movie theater in Garden Grove, California, where he opened the Garden Grove Community Church and later the Crystal Cathedral, which is where the Hour of Power show first began.
