I think it is the best budget dual band router.
Range is good. 5Ghz is low because the more frequency less the range. 2.4Ghz is very good. Very compact but powerful it is. Got for 1449.

Terrific purchase
This product from Tp-Link is very good. This is compact in size. It comes with dual band antennas i.e. 2.4 GHz with 300 mbps max. and 5 GHz with 433 mbps max. Tp-Link Archer C24 can be used in three modes namely Router Mode, Access Point Mode and Range Extender Mode. I am using it as an extended access point of my Airtel Xstream Fiber and this router is working too good. I am happy with this product. The set up process is also very easy to understand and operate.

A:yes it works, but it's the worst product I ever had with unstable network services. It unable to continue net services when it gain heat.

A:You can use it to extend signal range from wifi to wifi or wired to wifi. You can create an access point as well. Regarding AP fiber you can ask your provider whether it supports your personal modem.
