Excellient product.

Its compatible with windows 8 x64 and x86 both. The only thing is, until and unless you are not installing the driver, you will not get any LED indication on the back panel like activity and power.

TP Link have its own Windows 8 driver, (though this card supports plug and play) the only problem is, if u left the driver installation on windows 8 itself (UPnP), then the two LED indications (line power and activity) will remain off. Good product but better go for 851

I chose this over the 851 model thinking that 3 antennas will give a higher gain and signal. But the wireless signal is not great considering the fact that this has 3 antennas.
The download speed / upload speed however is not affected as I am using a 802.11g router. So it does do the job well. No need to install drivers in Windows 8 as TP-Link does not have Win8 drivers yet. The default drivers would work fine.
If I would be given a choice a second time, I would choose the 851 model and save ...
