I bought this product for one of my laptops.
Earlier i bought a Samsung pro for my desktop and thought all SSD would be fast like that and decided to buy the Transcend. But it was not that fast it is a big improvement from a HDD but slower when compared to Samsung pro or even too a Samsung evo(yup i bought that one too for another desk top).
Checklist: First check what is your sata port is capable of is it a 3gb/s or 6 gb/s interface?

I don't see why people pay higher price for the same specification and warranty.
Intel , Corsair, OCZ sells the same hardware with similar specs & warranty but at a premium / Unnecessary higher price.
This hardware perform the same with a much lower price tag.
Recommended for value for money conscious people.
