Advancement of society and personal empowerment depend on higher education. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 brought about a paradigm shift by mandating that it embrace innovation, foster an adaptive culture, and tackle issues of sustainability and social equality. In light of this, Guru Ram Dass College of Education developed national conferences as a means of providing a forum for a wide range of stakeholders, including parents, teachers, students, and school leadership, to engage in thoughtful discussion and introspection regarding the opportunities, threats, and challenges posed by the Sustainable Development Goals. The fourteen best papers from the conference are included in this book. When writing this book, we wanted to give readers a variety of viewpoints on the opportunities, risks, and threats that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) pose on Higher Education.
