Summary of the Book

When young Jim Hawkins comes to possess a map to the fabled Treasure Island, where a legendary treasure is buried, he sets off en route to the island with an odd crew. The honest Captain Smollett, Dr. Livesey and Squire Trelawney join him on the hunt, but they are not alone on this quest. The menacing Blind Pew, the back-stabbing Israel Hands, and the crazy Ben Gunn are just a few of the pirates who’d cut, maim and kill anyone who gets in their way. However, the biggest threat is a particularly despicable pirate by the name of Long John Silver.
