Indira Mukhopadhyay Born in Ariadaha at the northern edge of Calcutta in 1965 and having ranked 2nd in the M.Sc program in Organic Chemistry from Calcutta University, Indira moved to south Calcutta after her marriage and has since then been a home maker through and through. Her first novel Kalabati Katha was published in the Puja issue of Sananda in 2015. However her first first short story was published earlier, in 2011 in Desh. This was followed by many other short stories, essays and travelogues, in Anandamela, Ebela, Saptahik Bartaman, Femina Bangla, Bharat Bichitra, Prathama Ekhon, Kishore Bharati, UttarBanga Sambad and many e-magazines.
