TufClad 9220 Sprayable Sound Damper - is a water based liquid plastic coating, which is formulated as an exceptional acoustical control material. It is used for dampening noise, vibration and improving the acoustical properties of undercarriages and sheet metal bodies of automobiles, and any other application where sound dampening is required. Typical properties : Colour : Grey to Black (Should not be considered Viscosity : 3000 to 5000 cps as specifications) Specific Gravity : 1.27 ± 0.03 Solids : 70 ± 3% Drying time Surface dry : 1 hour Hard dry : 24hours Covering capacity : 0.9–1 m2/Kg (450 > - 500 >) : 0.6–0.7 m2/Kg (700 > - 900 >) : 0.5–0.6 m2/Kg (800 > - 1200 >) Applications Applied by Spray equipment or brush Mix required amount of thinner [water] to allow proper application. Surface to be treated should be clean, dry and free from rust or oil, Touch Dry - 30-60 minutes room temperature. Complete curing 24 Hours.
