In Twenty-One Ink Blots, Ahmad uses his graceful lexicon to infuse a tide of lucid lyricism into the stanzas of this collection and manifests his impeccable skill of portraying the emotional web of the peaks and lows of life. The poesy's euphony alternates between verses of hope and despair, as Ahmad pens down his epigrammatic poems on the topics that affect human life the most. Bilingualism makes this anthology an art, transcending the limitations set by mortal words and evoking the same kind of emotions in English as well as in Urdu. Twenty-One Ink Blots surely breathes an air of novelty and eloquence: credit to the young poet for composing such remarkable poems merely within three weeks!

Ahmad Pathan is a teenage writer and poet, who was born and raised in Srinagar, Kashmir, a place marred by seven decades of protracted conflict between two nuclear-armed nations. Currently, he is receiving formal education in Kashmir itself.
Ahmad loves creative writing, research, and debate. He has been working towards the promotion of research and collaboration among Kashmiri high schoolers in the fields of literature and science through his indigenous research society. He also runs The Panun Blog, a platform aimed at building bridges between communities.
Twenty-One Ink Blots, which is his first-ever anthology, provides a glimpse into the mind of this budding poet.
