I am associated with the literary group 'Srijan' and consider its head Shri Vinod Singhi (who is a philosophical writer himself) as my 'friend, philosopher and guide'. He is also the first reader and critic of my works. This time Vinod sir asked a question, “Why do you keep publishing so many books of your poems one after the other?” And I had to 'confess', tell the truth. My mother sees her reflection in me. Mother used to write a lot in her time and her diaries got destroyed due to some unavoidable reason. The sorrow of this always troubled him. One day he told me – I am your fan. I would be very happy if your writing continues to appear before me in the form of books. I will see the reflection of what I have written in them. My first aim is to give happiness to my heart patient mother and the second is to preserve my creations on the pages of books as well as in the hearts of my readers. -Jaya Kumari (Author)
