About The Authors

Ben Whaley is an engineer at AppliedTrust and he is a consultant on the architecture of Unix and Linux environments.         

Evi Nemeth served as faculty in the Computer Science department of the University of Colorado.

He has co-authored another handbook called The Unix Guide Administrator CP Reference.

He was primarily involved with the development of Unix, Linux and CS environments. He has recently retired.

Garth Snyder worked at NeXT and Sun and is one of the co-authors of Unix Guide Administrator CP Reference. He holds a degree from the Swarthmore College in Electrical Engineering.     

Trent R. Hein is the third co-author on the Unix Guide Administrator CP Reference.

He is the CEO and co-founder of AppliedTrust. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado. He is also a Boettcher scholar.
