The books were received in a torn box-set. However, the books were not damaged, indicating that it was packed with the torn box. this actually reduces the nostalgia and feel-good factor of the product.
I've however not returned the product as generally these sellers again send same item on replacement orders and replacement is a fruitless endeavour unless you prefer from a new seller.

Worth every penny
Got it for 439 rs in Flipkart Big billion days. I was thinking to buy this from past six months and I never imagined that I would get it for this price. Delivery was good. Quality of the books are good. It has new style comic painting of Amar Chitra Katha unlike Mahabharatha. Loved it.

I was never going to buy this books for 1700 rupees but i got it for 480 rupees at the sale. This is one of the best book set you can find at the time. If you do want to read books with 1000 pages this is the best replacement, it might look like it is for kids but it isnt it have all the deep facts and links to various other charachter and places too. I am a book geek and trust me with this , THIS IS THE ONE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR

A:It is neither. This is a graphic novel based on multiple sources and translations and while it follows the overall flow of Valmiki's Ramayan, it is not shlok by shlok or chapter by chapter.
