Sow oregano seeds indoors before the last expected frost of your region. You need not to cover the seeds with soil. Use a window or any other sunny location to germinate the seedling. GROWING REQUIREMENTS SOIL Oregano will grow better in rich and well-drained soil with a pH ranging between 6 to 7. SPOT Oregano grown outdoors prefers full sun. TEMPERATURE For best results, a constant temperature of 15°C (60°F) can be achieved by using bottom heat. WATERING These are drought-tolerant herbs which do not require much watering. You should water them during excessively dry periods only.
