Works great used it for my HDD from my not working laptop
To open it you need to slide like length wise
Had trouble opening the case
But work fine for now lets see how long does the internal circuit board of the case works

This is a very good hard drive adapter i used it for replacing my laptop HDD with Crucial MX500 1TB SSD. I cloned the system to new SSD with this adapter which was successfully done. Now i placed my 1TB Toshiba HDD in it and using it as an external hard drive working very good. This adapter also supports USB 3.0 which make things fast. I like its transparent look. The overall build quality of this product and cable is good, go for it👍

Cons
1) Case looks thin so handle with care
2) Heating to much if you have connected it with source from 1-2 hr
3) Maximum speed I got is around 230 MB/s
