Henry Denker was an American novelist and playwright. A law graduate, Denker's career flourished as a writer. In 1939, he wrote for the first serial on NBT TV. Denker also wrote for radio, including three productions on CBS Radio's Columbia Workshop. In 1945, he began his full-time writing career as a writer for Radio Reader's Digest on CBS. In 1947, he wrote the first script for the religious radio series The Greatest Story Ever Told. He later ventured into novel writing and wrote more than thirty novels.
