Good for pruning medium sized branches

I bought this product to prune my roses and bonsai plants. Its very sharp and can be used to cut a desirable angle to medium sized shrubs. Its a bit hard to use for stronger/woodier branches, but you can use it with force. I wouldnt want to do this, as it ll make this blunt.
Hence overall- good for shrubs and medium sized (3-4 feet tall) plants. Not for trees. At Rs 299, its a decent product.

Q:How to unlock it,pl help.

A:There is a small lock right next to the hinge. Press the handles little bit and then turn the lock. Do not try to remove the spiral spring in between the handles.
