LIGHTWEIGHT FRAME: The VMS Careline Transit Wheelchair CRUISE’s frame is made of lightweight aluminum alloy. Weighing just 12 kilos, it is easy to propel both for the user and the attendee and can carry a maximum user weight of 90 kilograms. SAFETY SEATBELT: The CRUISE wheelchair comes with a secure, adjustable seatbelt to ensure extra protection for the user that may be too weak to support themselves with the help of the hand rests alone and for the general safety while on the go. ERGONOMIC DESIGN: The wheelchair has a comfortable dual-tone Nylon mesh seat with PVC armrests. Its 20-inch wheels and an 18-inch seat width allow for comfortable seating and movement. Its foldable footrests and plates provide relief for the feet during transit and while stationary. FOLDING BACKREST: The backrest and hand grips of this wheelchair can fold backwards to decrease the height of the chair either for storage or ease of transportation in the boot space of a car. UNITED BRAKES: This Wheelchair is fitted with two braking levers: one at the attendant’s disposal at the back of the seat below the push handles, and the provided close to the seat level for the convenience of the user. A cable system allows for unified braking of both rear wheels, giving a smooth and balanced braking experience.
