MONUMENTAL!
Llosa, a deserving winner of the Nobel prize and which he received recently in 2010, has produced many pioneering works in the history of Latin American fiction. This is probably one of his best (nothing as good as this one in his entire oeuvre!) and will remain one of his most memorable works. Read him... you are in the presence of a master! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
