WD My Cloud
Hi, Am using this product for the past 4 months and no issue so far
Pros:
1. I can access data from anywhere including hi-def movies with any device mobile, laptop or iPad
2. Data storage is huge and sufficient for my requirement for next 3 to 4 years
3. No lag while watching hd movies however it depends on your internet connection as am using 15 mbps speed at home and 3G connection while roaming
4. Device doesn't make any noise and doesn't even heat up for continuous usage of more than 12 h...

Best, compare to any USB external hard drive
I am posting this review after a use of almost 3 months and stored over 1 TB of data.
Pros:
-Wired/Wireless connectivity.
-Light weight and compact design, looks very good.
-Can also be accessed via web.
-High data volume

Very useful product especially if you use number of computers or mobile devices at your home and you want to have the same data available for each without keeping all computers on. It is especially good for media management and streaming, as you can watch the same movies in your tablet, then continue it on your desktop screen or TV (in my case streamed through a media player, but a smart TV will do this directly). It works!!!!
I have been using this for 2 weeks now, bought it from a retail outlet (not flipkart). Setup was fairly simple as long as i followed the instruction manual verbatim.
I have been using it for two weeks now and i have absolutely no problems.
Con:
I had another 1TB external hard disk of which 250GB was used. I had to collate all the pics into one place (the WD) and it took more than 72 hours (yes, thats not a typing mistake... its HOURS) to copy 250GB data.
The connections i had created was: 1T...

WD My cloud 3TB provides solution for much needed cloud storage at much cheaper rates compared to the amount of the storage it provides. Setup for the device is quite easy and self explanatory. If you are connected to same local network download and upload speed is good, but much of it depends upon the bandwidth which ISP provides. Excellent Product
I bought it from flipkart in sale. It is a great product, allows user level permissions settings and fast transfers over LAN (make sure you have a fast LAN for this 1GBPS recommended). Have been using it for 3 months without any issues. It is very easy to setup and even backups up mobile phone photos automatically over the internet to the device at home (if you have the app installed). It verifies all the data in case of power outage and starts up automatically. Definitely recommend it!

Must Have for Modern homes
Excellent utility...Protects privacy. I was new to network storage. Initially i was uncomfortable using all features. But the interactive dashboard came to help.
The only issue i faced and don't like also is that the data transfer from USB storage is very very slow, even though it is connected the physical port of the device.
