Good Read...!!!!
I am a huge fan of ww2.....i ordered this book after seeing HBO's ww2 miniseries "THE PACIFIC",produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.......
This book is a good example of how a memoir should be....
I have read Robert Leckie's 'Helmet for my pillow' as well,but didnt find that book as interesting as this one....
this book gives u the overall idea regarding Pacific theater of war,how fiercely japanese soldiers fought,how worse the conditions were n all........
