Worth every penny
Kadai finish is superb. Weight is bit high (exactly 2.830 Kg). Both inside and outside are finished well. Handles are small compared to the size of the kadai. Started using it straight away after cleaning it gently in water. Heated the kadai, applied excess oil, fried one onion at low flame. Cleaned everything and once again applied oil and rubbed it throughout the surface with a soft cloth. Cleaned it once again. Cooled it and cleaned the excess oil. Very Happy with the purchase. Came in very good condition with proper packaging. It's a bit heavy with good thermal mass and a thick base which prevents sudden increase or decrease in temperature. This results in slow cooking and even distribution of heat. The best thing is due to its thick base, it's naturally non stick. I was fed up with aluminium kadhai in which foods gets stuck since I use very less oil. And I don't use non-stick cookware. I bought 30cm one and am so happy with the purcha...
