An NSA agent Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson) has come to believe that a former extreme-sports athlete, Xander Cage (Vin Diesel), is the perfect man to take down a ruthless Russian crime ring. Cage is hired by Gibbons as an unusual secret agent to fulfill a dangerous mission that conventional spies could not accomplish. Xander Cage has to undergo life-threatening situations whose intensity is far beyond what he has experienced so far.
