    Description

Zero to One : Notes on Startups, or How to Build the Future is a book on entrepreneurship, based on a lecture Peter Thiel delivered at Stanford in 2012.

    Summary of the Book

In 2012, Peter Thiel spoke to software engineers at Stanford, inspiring them to think boldly and try to carve out the future. He spoke of his own experiences, explaining the world of entrepreneurship from a personal point of view. Blake Masters was among the audience, and he recorded the lecture through detailed notes and posted them online. The posts went viral, and soon there was a need for a book which spoke more about Thiel’s ideas on entrepreneurship. In the current age, technology is beginning to stagnate. Information technology has grown at a rapid pace, but progress must not be limited to computers. Thiel explains that the next big entrepreneur will not have built an operating system or a search engine. Instead, tomorrow’s champions are going to be those who look at a unique business, roads which have not been taken. In doing so, they will discover that the roads which have been less travelled by will make all the difference between a zero and a one.

Peter Thiel is the Don Corleone (Godfather) of modern business.

This is the guy responsible for building
    multiple multi billion dollar global
businesses. Reading his stuff is knowing
    from the horse's mouth

If you are still a Rashmi Bansal lover
    and hooked onto her romanticising
IIM and IITs then you better go find
a job soon because most likely you
will end up working at a company built
by Peter or his follower gang.

Most other business books are like
pipe guns used by tribals infront
    of this artillery.

The book is awsm. It gives a clear picture of different situation a company faces. More over Mr. Peter Thiel has beautifully written on famous entrepreneur. The starts with motivation for readers thus making it more interesting to read.

    Horrible

3rd class quality of book. Second hand book got delivered. This was the last time I ordered a book from Flipkart. I would rather pay extra and buy from a book store.

    My Bible

Hands down, best Business Book I've ever read.Peter Thiel has talked sense.Straight talk, no bullshit and no beating around the bush.
Though I disagree with his views at a couple of places, but after reading this book, I'm pretty sure what business, if I ever start one, I WILL NOT PICK.

    Absolute rubbish!

Paper quality is very poor, dull yellow instead of white, and the state of the book is also quite bad with faded printing. Never expected this from flipkart . a great amount of injustice has been done with such a great book.
