    For the future...

    Just for those who got confused between processor selection..
    Just forget all the false rumors and head to the point logically.
    1)if ur up for gaming and thought for intel,rethink, though current games only use few cores,and are gpu dependent, this trend is changing.Cant u see why crysis 3 and metro series play better on 6-8 core cpus and dont u think upcoming games make use of multiple cores.And even the upcoming consoles have 8 core architecture,(MICROSOFT and SONY are not FOOLS) so as tim...

    Go for AMD 8350 The Beast !!!

    AMD FX 8350 beats the intel i5 3570k even some i7 also in all benchmarks except single threaded app that doesn't matter.

    Note :
    -->Both the PS4 and Xbox One have AMD Jaguar-based CPU NOT Intel
    -->Number of Cores/Threads: 8/8
    -->Sony and Microsoft are not fools, they picked AMD over Intel LOL ;)
    -->Crysis 3 and Metro Series are Play Better on 6-8 Core CPUs.
    -->Cheaper than Intel.

    So If You are Gamer, Go for it AMD RoXxx Otherwise go for Intel.

    best processor at the price but gets really hot

    I am using this processor with corsair H100i liquid cooler, processor heats up a lot,if not liquid cooler, at lest use air cooler like "cooler master HYPER 212 evo", because stock heat sink/cooler is useless and makes noise, good multi threaded performance but not that good the single threaded performance..over all a good processor.. special thanks to flipkart for speedy delivery and selecting me as lucky winner for 10,000/- gift voucher as i had purchased this product during that offer :)

    It's a pretty decent proc from AMD...but for better wait for Steamroller

    I decided to write this with my very limited knowledge to enlighten few facts about this processor... (1) this is a octa-core ,quad module processor. (2) the mechanism of action of this n other new module based (read new architecture by AMD) is very different than tat of Intel. The Piledriver architecture has bumped up the multithreaded performance of this proc compara...

    Don't give negative reviews if you don't own/plan to buy/ know about this cpu.

    Do not compare the FX 8350 with the APU A10 - 6800k.
    They are catered for different people.
    The APU is better for gaming on a budget .Sure it can handle games @ 720p with medium details , but FX is in completely different league.
    FX's 8 core are better for multi-tasking , I mean really heavy multi-tasking jobs. { gaming + photoshop + video conversion etc. }
    Pair the 8350 with a good Graphic card { Radeon 7790,7850 } & your good to go.
    Also , upcoming games will be taking advantage of the 8350...

    Great Processor but

    this processor is great but why indians prefer intel is because intel is very safe and does not heat up much and because of that indians dont buy it.And yes if a person says to pc builder they will say no amd it is not safe.It heats up and then everything is burned. They say it is because of climate is very hot.I said AMD IS WHAT I WANT.bought it very nice processor

    better than fx 8150!!

    Hello this is not a waste of money better u by over amd fx 8150 because this is a revision of fx processor and this processor gain about 10-15% improvement in gaming so, better u buy this processor
    At the same time, if we dug a little deeper, we would see that processors with Piledriver microarchitecture are not that progressive after all. In fact, all the improvements are more of a superficial nature, and the advantage of the new FX-8350 over the FX-8150 can be explained by a combination of...
