Solar energy is a clean, easily accessible and abundantly available alternative energy source in nature. Getting solar energy from nature is very beneficial for power generation. Therefore, the need to improve the energy efficiency of PV solar panel through building a solar tracking system cannot be overemphasized. Photovoltaic panels must be perpendicular with the sun in order to get maximum energy. The methodology employed in this work includes the implementation of an Arduino based solar tracking system.

Dr. SUNDEEP SIDDULA is currently working as a Director of Research and Development cell and Associate Professor in Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad under Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. He completed his Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. He completed his Master’s degree on Power Electronics and Power Systems from Koneru Lakshmaiah University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh and Bachelor of Technology from JNTU Hyderabad. He has 13 years of research experience.
His research interests include Electric Vehicles, Renewable Energy Technologies, Artificial intelligence, Nano electronics, Computation research in new technologies & materials, the Internet of Things (IoT), Hybrid Power generation, Power systems and energy storage, Power electronics tools and equipment. He is a member of IEEE, Life member of International Association of Engineers, International Association of Computer Science & Information Technology and Indian Society for Technical Education. He has 50+ technical papers to his credit in various International and National journals and International conferences. He guided 2 funded project. He has Authored 3 books.
