BENEFITS AQUANATURE REEF CALCIUM is a concentrated calcium intended to maintain calcium in the reef aquarium without altering pH. should be used whenever calcium deficiency is present in your aquarium water. providing essential calcium for increased growth rates in corals, coraline algae, crustaceans and many other marine organisms. It contains no acetate, gluconates, polygluconates or other unnecessary organics to pollute your aquarium. It is phosphate and silicate free. Use AQUANATURE REEF CALCIUM when water tests show a calcium level below 400ppm mg L in your reef aquarium. USAGE Proper control of calcium level is imperative for the health and growth of corals and many other invertebrates. If the calcium concentration is too low, growth rates will suffer. If it is too high, alkalinity or buffering capacity will be diminished, leading to possible instability of pH. Sufficient magnesium levels are also necessary to maintain the proper balance. It is therefore recommended control the levels of calcium, magnesium and alkalinity on a regular basis. Strontium is also required for formation of aragonite. DIRECTIONS Shake well before use. Push 4 times equal to (5 ml) per 20 us gallons (80 L) twice a week of aquarium water. You can increase the amount or frequency based on growth response but do not exceed 12 push per 80 L (20 gallons) per day. 4 push will raise calcium by about 3 mg/L. RECOMMENDATION Use AQUANATURE MAGNESIUM & AQUANATURE STRONTIUM supplementation when needed.
