    • 1 - Degrease: Before applying new lubricant, you should clean the chain to remove old grime and lubricant. Use a bike-specific degreaser and a brush or chain cleaning tool., 2 - Shake the Can: Shake the can of lubricant well to mix the contents. This ensures even application., 3 - Position the Bike: Place the bike on a center stand or flip it upside down to access the chain easily., 4 - Spray the Lubricant: Hold the spray can about 6-12 inches from the chain. Start applying the lubricant at the point where the chain exits the rear derailleur and work your way around the chain. Rotate the chain backward to ensure even coverage.
