A nice product.
I am using this headset from last 8 months and here is the good and bad.
Disclaimer: My first review. I do not claim audiophile crown but listens to rock, metal and hip-hop a lot.
Good.......
1) It sounds really great. Mid 5/5 low 4/5 high 4/5 Bass 3.5/5
2) Earcups are nicely designed and fit perfectly on my ears. Soft cushion feels like leather no cut even after 8 months.
3) Earcups can be flat folded. (not like beats)
4) Compatible with smartphone so you can paly/pause music from contro...

Pretty good. I listen metal primarily, mostly progressive and doom/funeral, some heavy and so on.
Pros:
1. Decent bass sensitivity. You can hear all the bass notes. I'm talking about bass guitar notes, not the dichka-dichka computer generated bass sounds in EDM and pop and other such genres. Bass output is respectable for metal, hard rock. Good treble too, solos sound quite nice.

Reputed company for headphones
Good bass and treble
Worth every penny (bought this for 1700)
Mic, volume controller and play/pause/next/previous button is an added advantage in this headset
The wire is a bit thin but, its fine :D

Just okay
Not good with bass. Recommended for classic music. Earlier i used skullcandy , it was much bettr with bass , if u wanna go withclasic you can choose this.

Audio Technical makes products for professionals like audio mixers, musicians etc.. dont expect the quality of M50s on this headphone as this only cost 2k..

Very Good
Build quality is not that good but it's good if you don't have any plans to use it at the wear and tear places. Not at all an exercising headphones. Sound quality far better than the pair of sony and skull candy I owned earlier. If you can take a good care of it then this audio Technica are for you.

Quality Audio with Unique Design
The sound quality is awesome. Design is good but could have been more comfortable. Wire length is as required. And the mic records pretty clear audio.
Can't wear it for a very long time as the ears get hot and sweaty.
Overall it is a recommended product at it's price range.

Superb Sound Quality...Clean and smooth
I am a singer & a musician too. I was looking for a headphone which can provide me with distinct vocal clarity so that i can thoroughly focus on the pronunciation of the lyrics.
