Undoubtedly, the women is a pillar of any society, due to effortlessly playing different roles every day. Women around us are playing the roles with courage, as daughters, sensitive mothers, abled partners and a number of various other roles, with great skill and gentleness. Education is a powerful tool to progress in life. What better way than education can be for the upliftment and empowerment of women? Through its various initiatives, the Art of Living has empowered girls and women alike in the remote corners of rural India through education at the local level. No country can reach the peak of progress until its women are educated. Mahatma Gandhi said, "If you educate a man, then a man will be educated, but if you educate a woman, the whole family would be educated." Vandana Verma is the editor of 'Grihlaxmi' Magazine and founder of Tingaland (Children's Entertainment Center). She is the writer of progressive thinking. For the last 12 years, the writer has been campaigning to encourage girls to be educated through 'SPARSH' (an N.G.O.) She believes that the social evils can be overcome by educating and planting the seeds of education in the coming generation. The educated girl, who will become a mother tomorrow, will also educate her family. A daughter's success in life is possible through education only, a real wealth for her. This is her author debut work. Her next work 'Jal Hi Jeewan Hai' will be published soon.
