A:This has Micro HDMI not USB type C. So it will connect only with devices that have a micro HDMI port (certain Tabs and laptops). Most phones have a micro USB or a USB type C or a lightning connector.

A:No. Please note that this is a MICRO HDMI end not micro usb or usb C . But in general, You can connect your phone to a monitor if it has an HDMI port. So, buy microusb to hdmi or usb-c to HDMI cable
