SoundTrue's StayHear+ tips physically block out a considerable amount of external noise. You can activate Bose's Acoustic Noise Cancelling technology to further enhance noise reduction. This way, you can clearly hear your music even in noisy environments.
When you need to be more aware of your surroundings, like when you're crossing the street, you can switch to Aware mode with the press of a button. The effects of noise cancellation then become less prominent so you can hear enough of what's happening in your environment while still being able to listen to your favourite jam.

Bose's proprietary StayHear+ tips fit snugly and securely in your ears. So, you won't have to cram these earphones into your ears between irregular intervals. Thanks to their cone shape, the earbuds stay in close contact with your ear canals, maximizing comfort and sealing out spectral noise.
Shift the slider switch that's on the control module to turn on or off active noise cancellation. The in-line remote comes with a built-in mic and a total of four buttons. Not only can you use the buttons to answer or end calls, you can also activate Aware mode or adjust the volume with them. In addition, the remote supports voice-recognition apps like Google Search and Siri.
It takes up to two hours to charge the lithium-ion battery of the control module. You can experience the full potential of these earphones for up to 16 hours when the control module is completely charged. Even if the battery runs out, these earphones will continue to deliver the performance of standard earphones. The light that the remote's battery indicator emits displays the power status of these earphones.
